“Listen to FACT not fiction”

FACT:

•  Within Fradley Village Boundaries
•  1000 metres from the border of Lichfield
•  13% only is Brownfield Land
•  Majority of the airfield has already been built on with Commercial and South Fradley Residential property
•  87% is actually Greenfield
•  Current proposals at LDC are for a NON-‘eco town'
•  Current ‘eco town' proposal submitted to the Government is only of level 3 status and should be level 6
•  Governments own admission states “its aim is to create a place where people really want to live – which can evolve naturally as it gets bigger”
•  There is no evidence to suggest that numbers suggested would work in Fradley Park , as the governments own Camborne town study clearly states majority travel to work by car.
•  RSS already has quota of housing dispersed around Lichfield where needed, this includes the required amount of affordable homes and are proposed to be of reduced carbon footprint

Fiction:

•  New Settlement in Curborough
•  The site is a Disused airfield
•  The site is on Brownfield Land
•  5000 homes will be developed
•  Majority would work in Fradley Park
